Bio
Why, hello there. My name’s Anthony. Thanks for taking the time to look at my work.

I’ve been an Art Director for the last 6 or 7 years. I’ve worked on clients like Smirnoff, Macy’s, JetBlue, Microsoft and Cadbury Adams. Most of my work has been with JWT in New York, but I started out with brief stints at BBDO/NY, Fallon/NY, Euro, Launch and The Richards Group.

I got my design degree at the University of North Texas. It was a great place to nurture some one like myself: a total dork with loves for things like design, type, comics and most of all— ideas. In 2004 I was sitting in my beige apartment with beige carpeting, and I told myself, “Kid, you can do better.” So I packed a bag or two and bought a one-way ticket to New York City.

That was a great change. I met a lot of great people, travelled the globe a bit, and got opportunities I never thought I’d get. Most of my projects were in television and print, but you can spot some digital work in there as well.

After about 5 years at JWT, I decided it was way past due to move on and check a few other things off my list of life goals. I’ve always loved the Great Books, so in 2010 I went freelance while I got my master’s degree at St. John’s College. Some people want to climb mountains, I wanted to read a mountain of books.

So what’s next? Well, for starters, I’d like to get back to thinking up and crafting great ideas. Drop me a line and let's chat some more:

		<description>Tequila requires a manual.

To help the average joe learn the ins and outs of tequila, Jose Cuervo put out the digital book "Living Notoriously Well by Jose Cuervo." Each week consumers could go to LivingNotoriouslyWell.com and find out why tequila should be enjoyed, but treated with respect.

<description>So, what's the story behind this one? JWT Tokyo had a great piece of media creative with "Kit Kat Mail." But how to explain a great piece of Japanese advertising to Cannes' western judges? Enter JWT New York. We whipped this baby together, and sure enough— 2009 Cannes Media Grand Prix Lion.

Submission videos are a thankless task, but I'd like to think we were a little part of this smart strategic work out of Tokyo.

<description>These Rolex inserts for National Geographic told the story of how modern explorers use Rolex watches on their adventures. Within each gatefold, readers could learn about the various kinds of modern-day exploring, and how Rolex's specially made watches are an essential tool.

Here is a video discussing the whole project, along with the inserts themselves. Below you can find see the inserts themselves. Be sure to view them full screen if you'd like to read the copy.
